Manager Research

As Research Manager, you bring together science, innovation and practice. You provide direction to the research team and translate knowledge into solutions that help both customers and the poultry sector move forward. You turn strategic innovation themes into robust research programmes, coach researchers and PhD candidates, and remain involved in complex issues. Together with colleagues, customers and knowledge partners, you enhance the strength and impact of our research.

Your career

• Leading and developing the research team;

• Translating strategic innovation themes into relevant research programmes and projects;

• Monitoring quality, progress, capacity and results;

• Supervising researchers and PhD candidates and collaborating on complex research projects;

• Connecting colleagues, clients and knowledge partners, and translating results into practical insights and new opportunities.

Your talents

• Extensive experience in animal science research within the poultry sector or a similar environment;

• Management experience with a wide range of research projects;

• In-depth knowledge of research methodology and data analysis;

• You are able to bring people and interests together at all levels, both within and outside the organisation.
