Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will analyse and optimise our production processes for mechanical products and systems manufactured by Vencomatic, Agro Supply and Van Gent. Safety, quality and efficiency are central to this role. Using a systematic yet practical approach, you will ensure that processes become smarter, more stable and easier to manage. You will be fully engaged in improving and standardising production processes and documentation, whilst also supporting the development of tooling and reporting systems.

Your career

• Analysing and improving production and business processes with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement;

• Developing, simplifying and standardising mechanical products, documentation and production tools;

• Initiating and implementing improvements on the shop floor;

• Collaborating with R&D, Production, Planning and Logistics on improvement projects;

• Implementing new technologies and innovations within mechanical engineering and manufacturing;

• Working on production processes and products for the Vencomatic, Agro Supply and Van Gent brands.

Your talents

• HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline;

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a technical or manufacturing environment;

• Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience with technical improvement and investment projects;

• Strong mechanical and technical insight, combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach;

• Experience with stakeholder management and the ability to liaise in Dutch and English between R&D, Engineering, Production and Management.
