Mechanical Engineer

Do you want to do more than just design technology – do you want to make it smarter, simpler and more practical? As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in our strategic transformation programme. You’ll work on standardising product data, help develop modular product architectures and assist in setting up PLM processes so that colleagues worldwide can work effectively with them. Together with colleagues in the Netherlands and Brazil, you’ll ensure a uniform, efficient and future-proof way of working.

Your career

• Develop and improve product architectures and modular product structures;

• Bring structure to engineering and product data, monitor quality and make improvements wherever things can be made smarter or clearer;

• Collaborate with R&D, IT and Operations on standardised processes that can be used in the same way worldwide;

• Engage engineers in new working methods and systems, and support them in applying these in practice;

• Play an active role in the implementation of PLM processes within our Brazilian organisation and transfer knowledge to local teams.

Your talents

• HBO-level education and thinking in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field;

• Experience with product architecture, modularisation and PLM;

• You have a good command of Dutch and English, enabling you to collaborate with colleagues both at home and abroad;

• You thrive on working independently;

• Keen to travel regularly to our site in Brazil and make progress there alongside local colleagues.
