Technical Illustrator

You have strong technical skills, a visual mindset and a passion for clear communication. As a Technical Illustrator, you’ll translate technical information, drawings and practical knowledge into clear, visual, step-by-step assembly instructions. And the great thing is: these are used by installers and fitters all over the world! This means you’ll be working closely with Engineering, Production and Service, with a strong focus on quality, safety and the correct use of our systems.

Your career

• Transforming complex technical information into powerful, visually compelling installation and assembly manuals that can be used worldwide;

• Keeping a keen eye on safety, standards, consistency and ease of use;

• Bringing our production to life with clear, step-by-step instructions, whilst continuously improving our documentation based on practical feedback;

• Creating professional illustrations, diagrams and exploded views;

• You will play a key role in the further development of technical documentation – working collaboratively to facilitate the transition to new tools and working methods.

Your talents

• MBO qualification in a technical or graphic-technical field (such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Media & Design);

• You effortlessly combine technical insight with knowledge of assembly and installation techniques;

• Basic knowledge of risks and working safely with technical installations;

• A precise and structured way of working with an affinity for technology and visualisations;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
